The Supreme Judicial Council is preparing to issue an auction of 30 car number plates through the “Courts Auctions” application, which last week witnessed the first launch of the trial version. The auction witnessed an effective bidding movement that achieved returns exceeding two million Qatari riyals for the numbers included in the auction. And the number of registered people in the application were 5000 persons.
It is worth noting that the first electronic auction took place during the evening period from (6-10) pm on Wednesday, November 25, and the administration is preparing the second batch to offer (30) car numbers, and the auction period will be extended to 10 hours, and the auction is scheduled to start tomorrow Monday 7 December 2020, and the numbers will be announced in advance on the app, where subscribers can view them before the auction starts.
The Department is working on a phased plan to put all those seized in connection with executive cases to announce and bid on them within the application of court auctions. To achieve rapid justice under the National Initiative for the Development of Justice Systems.
