Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company and Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to set up 10 electric vehicles (EV) charging stations in Lusail City, in the presence of Minister of Transport and Communications HE Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti.
There are currently 11 charging stations in Qatar, with plans for 30 more this year including the 10 new stations for Lusail.
The Minester noted that next year will see the operation of 100 chargers. These stations will be placed in strategic areas like Hamad International Airport, Hamad Port, Grand Hamad Street, among many other areas.
