22 unique number-plates in tomorrow’s auctions

The General Directorate of Traffic in Qatar revealed a batch of special number plates for cars that will be displayed at the auction which will be held on Tuesday 22nd November through Metrash2 mobile application.

Pointing out that the group includes 22 unique number. The Ministry of the Interior in a series of tweets via its Twitter account (moi_qatar@), said that the auction will start from 12:00pm on Tuesday afternoon and will continue until ten 10:00pm on the evening of Thursday, November 24, noting that participants in the auction are required to make deposits payment of 20,000.

The General Directorate of Traffic mentioned that it will be in contact with the party who wins the auction within two working days to make the full payment of the total value of the bid. And the Traffic Department confirmed that it will drop the rights of a person to own the number plate in the case of absence within the period specified.

It is worth mentioning that the auction terms, includes that the amount of QR20,000 must be paid prior to the auction. The payment is by check or debit or credit cards.

The amount raised from the previous auction which was held last September was QR14.8 million. And saw the competition for the 25 special number plates.
