New intersections to open on Shamal Rd. this weekend

Some good news were posted on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Interior in Qatar MOI that new intersections and flyovers to be opened partially on Saturday, 22 October 2016. The opening of the intersection will help traffic to flow.

The partial opening will be at three intersection on Al Shamal Road (Doha Express way); and they are:

1. Duhail Intersection

The intersection will facilitate entrance and exit to Al Shamal road connecting many roads between Izghawa, Lusail. Duhail intersection includes the following roads ·

- Road that connects from West (Izghawa) towards the road heading to the South on Shamal road.

- Road that connects Izghawa to the East (Lusail)

- Road from the East (Lusial) towards Izghawa

- Flyover connecting from East (Lusail) towards South on Shamal road.

- Road that connects from Shamal road (towards Shamal) towards East (Lusail and West (Izghawa)

2. Huwaila flyover

A new three-lane flyover will be opened connecting between Huwaila street and Shamal road towards south (Doha).

3. Umm Salal Moahammed Intersection

The intersection connect with many roads between Umm Salal Mohammed, Jeryan Jenaihat and Shamal road.

We advise all drivers to follow the traffic rules and adhere to speed limit.
